Nothing like a half pound of hamburger and a helping of mac and cheese "nestled" in a grilled cheese sandwich.
P&G's is an old bar, made popular by ex-Dodger baseball player, Storm Nickerson, who tended bar here for years.
When the bar changed hands in 1969, the first weekend was tremendously successful. The next weekend, place was dead, and the new owner couldn't figure out how he had alienated everyone. (Turned out it was the weekend of Woodstock, not too far down the road.)
